I have a pretty dark sense of humor, and yet I'm strangely romantic.

I work in the publishing field, have a graduate degree in Media, and I spend my free time taking care of some misfit horses, making handmade films, playing piano (for fun!), going to concerts, the movie theaters, museums..even libraries can be a lot of fun if you want them to be.

I'm looking to find my best friend that I can be real, silly, and geeky with. I'd see him from across the room and feel the slightest bit reassured, and yet the slightest bit on fire inside. He won't be offended by jokes, or put off by sentiment.

More so, I think it would be great to meet some people and make new friends, too. My past relationships have built off of friendships anyhow.

I love to play board games and have the type of friends that make Apples to Apples interesting. Music I like is as varied as Leonard Cohen and Skinny Puppy, Devotchka and Telefon Tel Aviv. The list of favorite films is impossible, but I'll mention the documentary "Fast, Cheap & Out of Control," Hal Hartley's "Amateur," and "Halloween III." I also enjoy reading and don't think I could be involved with anyone that says they do not read books at all.

Most of all, just be an honorable person. So many of you are not.
