I'm an easy-going, down-to-earth guy who likes to laugh and have a good time. I'm described as a good communicator, intelligent, articulate, outgoing (humble?!?) with a great sense of humour. I am open to the possibility of a naturally evolving relationship, if the right person comes along. I'm primarily looking for companionship at this point and see where it goes...someone to talk to, walk with, dine with, laugh with (I'll need new material) and share with me some of the activities that I enjoy. If things blossom from there, that would be great. One thing I am NOT...is a player. Once I meet that special someone, I am loyal and trustworthy and expect the same in return.
I love being in nature. Walking in the woods, going to the beach, hiking, canoeing, exploring Conservation areas. Every year, I get a seasons' pass to the Ontario Provincial Parks and try to get to as many as I can.
I'm looking for someone who is attractive, physically fit and also enjoys the outdoors. Someone who likes to laugh and isn't afraid to show affection. She should be open and honest with her feelings and communication style. I like people who are open-minded, spontaneous, non-judgemental and adventurous.
I'm a former semi-pro lacrosse player and still try to stay fit and active. I currently work in the field of domestic violence prevention. I have two sons, 23 and 15 from two different relationships. I'm very close to both, see them regularly however neither live with me. I've also been blessed with a huge circle of great friends whom I treasure.

By the way, when I first joined POF, I didn't know how it operated. I replied "no thanks" to a message from someone whose heading said, " looking for intimate encounters". Unknowingly, this resulted in me being branded by this site (with no apparent recourse) as one seeking/messaging for such and thus excludes me from contacting those who have it listed as a "must not have". Definitely not my style.

For the first meeting, nothing too long or complicated...someplace neutral, for coffee or lunch where we could talk...
