I am a very social person with lots of great friends and family. I entertain frequently and am told I am very good (that is cooking in case you are confused) both in the kitchen and on the BBQ - more importantly to me, I really enjoy cooking up a meal for myself or 20! Love the outdoors - both winter and summer.

I am fit but not a gym freak! Would rather hang out socially than go to the gym, however I do go and love to play squash. As well I really enjoy biking, walking - my favourite (city and country - this also allows me to people watch which I love). I can be quite spontaneous, witty and sarcastic which usually leads to a fun time - I love to laugh - even at myself, probably more than I should!!

I grew up in the "beaches" in Toronto, so I am a city guy at heart but truly love living north of the city. My business takes me into the city weekly and I still try to enjoy a few weekends in the city dining/theater etc.

Would love to meet a "best friend" that turns out to be my long term mate for life. They need to be independent and know what they want. I don't want someone the same as me - but someone that is compatible with me - someone that will help me grow and someone I can help grow. I think it is important to have our own space - but critical that we grow together. I would like someone that can take the lead sometimes and also can be lead. Life is and should be a two way street. I would hope that this lady understands that we will never always agree, however we will always be on the same team!!

I have now aquired the travel bug so hopefully this wonderful lady will like to travel. Look forward to meeting my new "best friend" - good luck to everyone in their search!

Wow - 1st. date - I haven't even gotten to know you a little - so that is really not a fair question. However I will attempt to shed some light on what I think would be a fun date. We meet for drinks on a patio - we agree we only have 1 hour and have to leave. We chat and discover that 2 hours have passed and we decide to do dinner. We enjoy each others company and indulge in more wine along with some great food. We leave and go for a walk lakeside - kiss and hold hands - take you back to your car or cab and we kiss briefly and agree to see each other again soon!
