I have a sense of humor and it is a requirement for you to have one also. I understand there is a time to be serious, but laughter makes the world go around. I have a strong belief in treating others the way I want to be treated. I do NOT play head games, and I will be straight with you. I am not perfect nor do I pretend to be. I believe chivalry is NOT dead. I will always open the door for you.

I prefer a woman that has an opinion, but is willing to consider mine as well.
I am the father of three beautiful girls, 7,11 and 13. I share them with their mother (who is still in their lives 50% of the time), therefore I have them every other week and weekend. I want someone that I can be friends with first, as that is the best way to get to know a life mate. For right now, I can share 50% of my time. If that is not something you are willing to consider, please move on. My daughters are important to me. I do not want to have anymore children, however, if you have them, that is ok.

I prefer to stay active. I play softball in Spring/Summer and snow ski in the Winter(haven't tried boarding yet, though!). One of my favorite things to do is bike the American River trail. I am willing to try new things and I keep an open mind. (Not sure if I want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane yet, though.) I have recently gotten into running/jogging and am enjoying it (so far...) My goal is to run a marathon in the next year.

I work to live, not live to work. Work is important to pay the bills but not to a point where it has taken over my life.

My idea of a first date is something simple, like meeting for coffee. Although, I am more of a hot chocolate guy. Maybe a bike ride on the river trail now that the weather is great!
