I retired after 31 years of enjoyable work, basically cleaning up some of the messes that people made for themselves, or had forced upon them(didja guess?? Retired cop).. I now travel, ride my motorcycle, and can totally enjoy life to the fullest. Never married, no kids. No debt. Looking for a healthy lady, late 30's to 50 or so.., average/attractive, non-smoker, no tattoos or piercings(I love nice skin, nothing like some tats and piercings to really mess up a person's good looks). I have varied interests, I can play most games and I partake in most sports(except b-ball and soccer). I can be exceptionally competitive at times, it's a mindset from youth sports that I never lost. I totally lose that when I am teaching something, I have to make that person succeed, otherwise there is no joy for me.. Love pool and tennis above all. I was looking to teach tennis in Cuba for a few weeks this winter but that fell through. Attended and completed my stunt-driving school, and am now a fully accredited driver. (come on movies!!). If there is a photo up to match the profile name, I would probably answer. What harm's a little text anyway???...I make no bones about the fact that I am terribly shy about contacting someone on here. Been here about 7 months and emailed once, that's it. Also, I clear these "Favourites" right away..seems people won't contact when there is a hoard of them showing on a profile, so I've been told.
By now, I have had a chance to read multiple profiles written by women from all walks of life, races, religions, incomes, employments, et al, with ages varying from 25 to 50+. They are all the same...literally...all the same...one would think that age and maturity and just living in general would cause the more mature woman to seek in a different fashion than someone who is just starting out in life. Guess not. Just the same stuff, some written a little better due to a better word power or degree of education, but, taken in context, the same stuff. The best ones are the profiles that demand a man be single, unmarried, without female connection of any kind, done with the exes, and these same female's profiles indicate "separated". Am I the only one who notices this or who cares??? I guess it comes down to what men are looking for if it's not a twenty-something, college attending, teeny-bopper that likes men with gray hair and a fat wallet. By the time most men reach my age, if they have not been married and had no kids, they are looking for someone who is compatible for later-life, the retired years. Travel, good company for each other, can have intelligent conversation, do a crossword puzzle without a computer, persons who can partake in each others hobbies or sports, do things without planning for 2 months, and has either the foresight, common sense, or guts to realize that you don't take someone and try to shoehorn them into your lifestyle and make them fit into being what you want. It simply won't work. "Better like dogs, better like cats, better like snakes, chimps, bats, rats, and old gnus." "Better not be allergic to"...Oh, and don't forget "athletic", aka: skinny as a rail with arms like a gorilla, a recent face-lift and hair implant...Geezzz...Isn't that what you got married to and then divorced from??? I don't think I am much longer for this site...certainly not holding my breath...buuttttt, who knows?? It just takes one....doesn't it???

Lunch....time to talk, and no expectations(for those who have the mindset to run away at first meeting)..Or.. a round of golf, 9 or 18, it works for making business connections..why not a first meeting???..Or.. a set or 2 of tennis, see how fit some of you ladies really are(all this talk of gyms and working out)..Or.. shoot a game of pool, women take lessons for this, good time to see if they really helped...Or..a little motorcycle ride in the country with a coffee or lunch on the road(ride your own bike or 2-up with me)..OR..just a nice dinner for 2 at a cozy downtown restaurant, good service, good manners, good food, and some adult conversation..p.s., I HATE HORTONS !!!!.....I rest my case...
