I tried on-line dating a couple of years ago, but could not get up the nerve to actually contact anyone. However this site was recommended by a friend who is much braver than I am, and so I decided to take the plunge.

Ideally I would like to find someone who makes me laugh. I would like someone who enjoys going out, but who is also happy just staying home. Physical characteristics aren't that important as long as I am able share long conversations with the other person.
