My name is Crystal. I am 30 years old and have experienced much in life, as most people have. I am in the process of heading toward filing for divorce, which I’m sure will scare off about 75% of men. That is the nature of things. We live and learn… and I have learned there are things I can’t live with or without.

I don’t have children but am open to dating someone who does. I love children!

I tend to be kind of shy and guarded at first, but warm up pretty quickly when I am comfortable around a person. I am kind, considerate, honest, goofy, spontaneous and a whole bunch of other things I could list here. But I’ll wait until you get to know me a little… don’t want to give too much away up front, right? :)

The arts play a huge part in my life. I am well versed in most kinds of music. My iPod contains everything from Godsmack to Buddy Holly to Benny Goodwin. I am a writer at heart (with high hopes of being published one day). I keep a small notebook with me at all times for when inspiration strikes!

I don’t exactly have a predetermined notion of everything I am looking for. I tend to be the hopeless romantic kind. I miss the thrill and butterflies of anticipating what will hopefully be a great date. I miss hand holding and cuddling while watching TV.

My ideal man is intelligent – make me think and I’m yours! Expend a little effort to get inside my head and get to know me. It might be a scary place, but I can guarantee it’s worth it.

Lastly, I do lean toward humor in almost everything I do. I am sarcastic, witty and can be extremely playful. I love to tease and fully expect the same in return.

If any of the above sounds remotely interesting, it might be cool to have coffee or a drink some time. I am looking forward to meeting some new people in Jacksonville!

My idea of a great first date is going to a low-key restaurant for lunch and somewhere quiet to talk. I also like the idea of meeting at, say, the zoo (or something of that nature) and walking around. I think it would be a great ice breaker.

Dinner and dancing is always great! I love to dance. I'm pretty open to almost anything.
