ok, here goes...

I love sports, but there is so much more to me than that. My father gave me my love of sports and my mother gave me a love of the arts, music, education and intellect. I thoroughly enjoy music. Doesn’t matter what kind; from classical to country western to classic rock and the new stuff! I enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine as much as a good Budweiser, and I love a nice cold martini when I get the chance. I also love to try new restaurants. Whether it be a casual place relaxing with friends or a fine dinner downtown, as long as the company is good and the food is interesting, I am happy.

I am hoping to meet someone that enjoys a lot of the same things I do, but can also add to my list of life’s surprises. Someone who knows what they like but is also flexible enough to be open to new ideas as well, this way, we can both grow from the experience of knowing each other. I don’t need someone who is totally into sports. A healthy tolerance of sport and the understanding that at times they are important to me is all I need. I do understand that there are times that some things are more important than watching and playing sports. If you are someone who enjoys the things that I spoke of above, and you would like to learn some things and show me some things, then we should talk. I am not into playing games, I just want to meet the one person that makes me want to get off this website!

It's hard to plan a first date without first talking to the other person. Understanding each other's likes and dislikes is important on a first date. And of course, without chemistry, a trip to the moon would be awful!
