Okay … I’ve been here on PoF for a little while and I’m going to try a fresh approach (fresh for me anyway). Here’s a little about me and a little about "That Special Someone." It is short and sweet, direct, refreshingly honest, to the point and contains no BS. I apologize in advance if what I’ve written offends anyone. I know that my approach is not at all romantic… but then again neither is clicking through profiles on the computer! I PROMISE I’ll deliver the romance (in spades) when we find out that you and I “click.” Deal? … good ;o)
Here goes …

Me -- I just returned to SoCal from Hawaii after being gone for a few years. I am active, healthy, educated, and happy. I love to play but I also love my work. I'm intelligent, romantic, soft spoken and modest. Articulate and an excellent listener, I am often able to “hear” what's not being said long before the speaker. That means we can talk through any issue. I want a partner who is a communicator and who values the fact that I can share my deepest feelings, emotions, thoughts and cares.

That Special Someone -- First and foremost she is already happy! Like me, she has become accustomed to being single but wants the rest of what love and life have to offer when it is shared with the one you love. She is independent, but loves the closeness of an intimate, monogamous and true partnership with an abundance of together time. She is comfortable being pampered, and willing to reciprocate.

Now I’m about to really tread on thin ice. If you take offense to what follows below, I apologize. It is not my intention to offend, but rather to be honest and forthright. I am serious about this and I know what will and will not work for me. I’m betting that you know what you want too!

She cares enough to care for herself, she is slender or on the slender side, stays active, exercises regularly, is healthy, fit, and is reasonably to very attractive.. She is most probably 42 to 48 years old and is often told that she looks younger. She looks exactly like or better than the pictures she has posted in PoF. Finally, she has plenty of time for “us” and is most READY to be fully involved in a REAL relationship

The first meeting, simple and brief, is all about seeing that there is "truth in advertising" and to see if there is chemistry or the potential for a connection. A short visit over coffee or iced tea is the perfect venue for this. It's not a first date ... but it could evolve into a date if we both choose to go there.
