What does one say that will grab a persons attention!? That will make someone stop and take a second look and then send a message.

I am very affectionate, love to cuddle and hold hands. I'm a very friendly person. I can walk into a room filled with people and chat with anyone. But it would be nicer walking in with a partner.

I love to laugh and take great pleasure in little things. It is the little things that can mean so much more than one big thing. Little things like picking some flowers from a field and giving them with a smile. Dropping by with a coffee, just because. It means for that short bit of time one was being thought of.

One of my weaknesses or bad traits is that I speak my mind. There is usually no guessing if something was said or done that upset me. I have no problem letting important people in my life know when they have done or said something I don't like. I don't believe in the silent treatment. Deal with the issue, come to an understanding and be done with it. I don't believe in making a scene in front of others, unless it is really called for.

My interests are many. Working on my family tree gives me so much pleasure. Finding a "new" family member can make me smile for ages. I have been tracking down elusive family members for about 30 years.

I can't wait to get outside and work in my gardens. It really isn't work to me. I get great satisfaction from the few flower beds and small vegetable garden I have.

Maybe this summer I will be able to spend a few week-ends panning for gold. The trips are a combination of camping and panning. The gold claim is in Nova Scotia in the middle of nowhere. Real wilderness camping.

No matter where I go or who I am with, I am seldom bored. There is something interesting to be found almost anywhere. My hobbies lead me to do unusual things like walk through cemeteries and take pictures of random gardens.

There are so many options for a first date. Depending on the weather (not necessarily the season) a picnic and a walk would be nice. Enjoying a meal at a quiet restaurant so we can chat without having everyone hearing. Grab a coffee and go for a stroll on the boardwalk at Victoria Park. Whatever is comfortable for both of us.
