About Me
Here's a little bit about me:

I'm an energetic and confident man, especially when there's a basis for confidence. When there isn't, I'd call that overconfidence. I have a serious side that I'm showing here, and a kinda goofy funny side as well.

Likes: Music is close to top of that list, with me liking something from most genres; I like knowing about how the world works and I love thunderstorms, tornadoes and lightning, for instance. I like driving my car and using my computer, but honestly I know just enough about them to be dangerous lol. I like a good movie. I like making a new friend, especially one with lots of interesting things to say. I love a long bike ride on a nice day.

Dislikes: It seems I dislike the way most people I meet on the road drive, especially the ones that should be stopping at stop signs but look like they'd rather just sort of roll slowly on out into our way :P I'm not overfond of election years, even if they do give us plenty to discuss and think about. I only watch sports if it's an event with friends. People who say "in da house" need not apply; sorry it just bugs me.

I keep stress down by biking and pushup-type exercises mostly. I like my job (most days), photography, outdoors games and inside that use cards, boards, keyboards, targets, darts, balls and tables and involve other people.

Now that my little brother's moved back to town, my whole family is here and we see a lot of each other. That's pretty great that we can get closer to one another again--our lives are good and I feel lucky for that.

To something more important than games, this next sentence has become a cliche because it's true for so many of us: I have what I want in my life but no one to share it with right now. It'd be nice to have someone to share with and care about. I'd like to meet her soon...maybe she's you. To paraphrase a well-known saying: If the mountains would not come to Muhammed, Muhammed must go to the mountains. You can call me Muhammed, Ms. Mountains.

It just occurred to me to add something, and those of you to whom this is meaningful are the ones I'd like to know: When we were kids in school, there were kids that got picked and kids that got picked on by them, and there were kids that were nice to you regardless. I was one of those nice kids, and I still am despite seeing life as terribly ironic.

First Date
It could be a walk, a board game with coffee or a drink, an outdoor art show, etc. Dinner if we want it. The Science Museum has an exhibit now that's based on our work; I made its centerpiece here in the lab and am meaning to go see it. There's lots to do; I leave choices like that to the moment and present company.

Helixir has 2 roses that can be sent.
