Hello out there, I am looking for someone with whom I can be myself. We don't have to have a lot in common, I believe opposites can attract, but I have to be able to feel at ease. I have an "out there" sense of humor. It comes from teaching 8th grade every day. I like ethnic food. I am a foreign language teacher and so I speak fluent Spanish and French . I love to travel. I am currently working on my house that I had rented to others for three years. I'm very handy and used to be a builder.I have a strong romantic streak and I am very affectionate. I listen to many types of music and I go through phases that last several months.I love to travel of course and have been to Mexico and Central America. I go to Quebec and speak French,eat great food, fish and camp.I have a twelve year old son and I am remodeling a house to make it a good home for the two of us and for someone special that may want to join us eventually.
I love to read. I just read Kurt Vonnegut's last book,"Return to Armageddon". I have a big organic garden. I am trying to figure out a second career for retiring from teaching. I would like to so something international. I would like to become a better musician. I currently play fife semi-professionally. I play guitar too. I would like to learn to dance,really dance, steps etc.

I prefer to go out for coffee or a drink on the first date maybe order some appetizers or dessert. Nothing heavy or too long. You can always have a second date if the chemistry is good.
