About Me
If you have horses and would like to talk horses or talk training & trail riding, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE shoot me an email! --- I'd LOVE to hear from you! Otherwise, I'm sorry... I'm not looking for "dates or "more email friends" right now....Only true "horse folks" to hang out with & trail ride with at this time!
The heart is still in pieces from the demise of a relationship... I now realize I'm still healing and YOU don't need the drama that goes along with it any more than I want to go through that drama... SO-- I'm not willing to let you into it with me.... That's just the cowgirl in me. In the mean time, I'm enjoying the friends I've already met on the forums here but don't want to add many more so that I can just ignore them.... And if you don't eat, sleep and breathe horses, I'm sorry to admit it, but you will be ignored.... so let's not do that! okay?
I can't wait to get back in the saddle next Spring and trail ride every weekend! If you ride gaited horses, maybe we can coordinate a car pool for us to go trail riding together... or a pof trail riding event! That might be really fun!
If you aren't horse folks, I wish you much luck & success in finding your new friends and dates... So GOOD LUCK in your fishing! ~~ Hope you find what you are looking for!

Lets see, where do I begin? -- I am divorced woman whose children are now raised. They have blessed me with these fun little toys called grandsons! It's my job to spoil the crap out of them, sugar them up, and send them home.... how's that for a mothers revenge??? *giggles hysterically* I enjoy laughter...can you tell???
As a kid, I lived in WV; during my teens our family moved to Ohio... So I jokingly say I was a transplanted Hillbilly. I love my roots and am very proud of them! I still love WV and still say "down home". As an adult, I spent a few years living in NC... before relocating back to where I am now. I live on the family farm in Central Ohio -- my parents are right up the road. I won't lie to you, my dream is to someday move south; maybe to Kentucky, North Carolina or most preferably to Shelbyville, Tennessee -- I'm not quite sure when & where just yet.... I just know that I dearly LOVE the mountains there and desire to be closer so that I can trail ride as well as to be closer to Tennessee Walking Horse Country! The TWH shows there are like no other!! It's where my passion for horses is fueled!
For now though, I am rewarded daily while drinking my morning coffee as I get to watch my horse play in the pasture here in Central Ohio... I have an old dog & a great horse who are amongst my best friends. They both give unconditional love & acceptance; If only people could learn to be so gentle... In addition, there's cats in the home and a few in the barn too. Sometimes, I think I'm Ellie Mae Clampett with all the animals we have around here... but they come and go-just as the seasons do.
I work a FT job in town daily, and a part time job 2 days a week, and then I return to the farm each night to do chores... so I am indeed a busy gal. Some days are busy from sun up till way past sundown... other days are average - I've just learned to cowgirl up and do what needs to be done & go on. Unfortunately, this means that currently, my time is very limited... I cut my own grass and shovel my own stalls - I don't pay someone to do it for me -- so I assure you, I'm not afraid of hard work or getting dirty!
I own and ride Tennessee Walking Horses. They are my life's passion. Some may describe it more as an "addiction". I love to attend the horse shows and I try to trail ride as much as I can when the weather permits. Yes folks, it is true! ... I am a fair weather rider... I hate to ride in rain or in cold, snowy weather... I'd much rather sit in front of the fireplace when the temperatures drop. The idea of moving south to TN or NC still tickles my brain many days...especially during the colder months! LOL
I love engine power-- I'm a diesel fool!-- all the way to the depths of my soul!!! I love a diesel engine and can hear it a mile away! I'll be in mid-sentence sometimes and have to stop talking to watch the truck drive by... and take in the sound/hum/whistle of the diesel. I absolutely love the Power Strokes-- love the Cat & Cummins Engines almost as well, .... and the big ole Caterpillar Dump Trucks (Yukes) at the rock quarry... mmm I'd just love to get in one and drive it.... This is my life long dream... so be still my heart! As for cars---I prefer the older muscle cars! Give me a Mustang Fastback any day of the week... oh my gosh - I could have so much fun in one!
I'm spontaneous, sometimes goofy and on occasion I can whip out a few good zingers.... I am most comfortable in my wrangler jeans and my dingo boots; but I can dress appropriately & hold an intelligent conversation at a dinner party when the need arises. I don't want, need or desire drama. Most of the drama in my life is over--- After all, my teenage drama queen finally grew up (Actually, SHE gave me the info for this web site...Thanks kiddo!)
When it's all said and done at the end of the day, I'm just a down to earth, fun loving, spontaneous country girl who loves the simple things in life. It's not about the car I drive, or my home, or the possessions in it; It's about who I am as a person, and whether or not I've done all I can to make it a great day -- Have I set good examples? Have I offered words of encouragement to others? Have I been the best me I can possibly be? Have I lived a life of integrity? Do my friends and family know how much I love and care for them? Have I told them that I appreciate them? Have I lived each day as though it might be my last? What should/could I have done differently?... and then I remind myself tomorrow is a new day and I resolve to do better tomorrow...IF the sun rises!
First Date
Let's meet somewhere public where we can relax while we chat, discuss, debate, laugh, joke, grab a bite to eat or drink a cup of coffee & just be down to earth! It's all about being yourself and building the foundation of a new friendship with honesty. Simplicity is my friend, so I plan on just being myself -- how about you?? Hopefully we can plan to go on a trail ride.... or go to a tractor pull... or a mud run!!! We'll figure it out!
