Hello, my name is Chris. I'm a single dad of two who live with me full time. I'm hoping to meet an honest lady who is interested in seeing where things might go. I am not in any kind of rush at all. Honestly, I just want to get it right this time; Not just the right person (which goes without saying) but the process of courtship. I want to go as slow as might be needed and not rush in. I would like to one day find that special someone. I want to meet somebody who has similar interests as me but still is also their own person. I don't want a clone of myself or a total opposite either. I guess I could be considered as a romantic. I only want what I think we all long for- Trust, honesty, loyalty. Someone to truly relate to & someone to grow old with. I'm too old to mess around and play kiddie games.

I am somewhat guarded and private, but I am definitely able and willing to fully share anything if it is pertinent. I couldn't possibly put it all on here anyway. I really don't want to fill this space with the same old tired cliche's. My life has been an epic saga to some degree and until now, I suppose, I might be considered boring. I don't have a nightlife and I have mellowed a lot in my 30's.

My faith is very important to me. I would prefer to meet a Christian woman. I'm as red-blooded as the next guy but I try to hold myself to a higher standard than what I used to... I am FAR from perfect! lol!

To be blunt; take it or leave it. I hope that doesn't come across too mean! I don't intend on settling, why should you? One thing I have learned for certain is that it is WAY better to be by yourself than to try and force it to work with the wrong person and all the wrong reasons. Life is too short to waste time.
