I don't really have a criteria that I go by for women. But generally if we have the same interests and some chemistry then let's hang out...I'm pretty independent but could enjoy the company of an interesting person to cook with/eat dinner, find cool things to do, go adventuring, hang out.....

Summers are great up here, winters are much more challenging. Meeting people is not so easy (in my experience here) and its a work in progress to find a good bunch of people with similar interests, and even more challenging to find someone worthwhile to spend time with intimately.

I'm out-going, fun, down-to-earth, creative, smart, modest, educated and well traveled. I enjoy good wine and food, dinner conversation. Always looking for new music to listen to. I'm quite engaged in my work (I have a great job) but try to play as hard as I work on the weekends. I have lots of energy so am into Ultimate frisbee (the best sport in the world), canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, volleyball, camping etc. and would like to exercise 5 days week if possible. Though not my job at the moment---maybe one day---I'm a photographer so I try to devote time to that passion every week.

Travel is a huge part of my life and have lived 6 years overseas, I wish I had more holidays as there are places I want to return to and countries I've not yet been. I'm torn between travelling for photography/adventure and going somewhere where I can surf. Roadtrips are always a good time.

Most likely meet for a drink or coffee but if there seems to be a good connection and level of mutual interest then during the summertime there is so much to do, so I'd say an afternoon of canoeing, hiking or drive out of town and then go for a drink or dinner after, if there is some good live music head out to see that. Winter, try to find something interesting going on, meet for dinner, maybe watch a good movie, but it has to be an untypical Hollywood movie, something to spurn thought or conversation.
