About Me
Me? I love the following (in no particular order, that comes to mind today): - the sound of a whistling kettle (which means that tea will soon be served). - the secrets inside books that are waiting to be told. - watching a curled up cat who dreams of being awake. - music that inspires me to dance, sleep, wish and cry. - movies that make me hold my breath. - pens that make my handwriting look pretty. - waking up to cbc radio. - the science of the self (for me that = yoga). - paper and paper related things. - food (of the vegetarian variety). cooking, eating, sharing. yum. - the alphabet (it makes up all the words and all the sounds and all the things we try to communicate to each other). - scrabble (making words with small tiles of wood is a great way to spend the afternoon). - traveling: to places both foreign and familiar (within and without). - the toronto public library is pretty f'in awesome! (you should go) http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/ - promoting/pushing the amazing public library system of toronto (see above). - taking photographs of the unsuspecting and the beautiful (a lot of beauty often goes unnoticed). - birds: small, but fierce. silent and soaring. their magical simplicity has me mesmerized. - my bicycle: the greatest transportation device ever invented. - did i mention my love for the library? the gladstone branch just opened....and hello, it's amazing. you could possibly stalk me there. - and so much other stuff. (so, so much more) Looking to hang out with people who want to explore the city beyond the bar scene. If looking at art (or making it), riding bike trails, trading books/music/movie recommendations, or just walking to look at the leaves appeals to you, we should hook up and hang out.
