| | First and most important there has to be a physical attraction for it to work for me. I would be lying if I didn't say that up front. Second, you must have energy and want to enjoy life. I admit I am quite a character when away from work. If you like Boston, Vegas, Chicago, NYC, etc then you will love me! I love my music - anything from AC/DC to R&B, Hip Hop, must love Frank Sinatra or how about some Bon Jovi, Bruce, Van Halen, Bryan Adams, and of course Journey.
Lets face it - we all come here to the pond but the reality of the situation is that my goal is to meet someone that will make me close up this account. After that one very very special date, it is my hope that she realizes her grass couldn't get any greener even if she had a lifetime warranty with Chemlawn. I am hoping that someone is looking for a pleaser, someone who is old fashion and traditional in nature but has a new found naughty side wanting to bust out. Most importantly, I am not a fighter or a yeller and believe in compromise and communication. I can adapt to any type of party, music, or situation and I will certainly make the most of those situations for those that are with me.
Third and equally important - I am attracted to intelligence. I find creative people to be fun and exciting, I find those that have wit to be entertaining, and those that can evaluate, synthesize, analyze, etc successfully intrigue me. I love laughing so hard my face hurts so if you think you have that type of personality then you are so me!
I can usually have a good time doing just about anything but some of my favorites are live music, wandering around a city, Blackjack or sportsbooks in Vegas, any nice beach, long drives with good company, someone to snuggle up with while watching movies, Phillies/Eagles, traveling and a good laugh. I love to dance even though I am average at best, I totally enjoy a intelligent conversation and nothing better than when I am just being me with my nutty humor and behaviour.
Although online dating is not my ideal way to meet someone, I don't get out LOCALLY much with my current circle of friends. In addition, my job & busy schedule preclude me from meeting eligible women. I work LONG hours but I play just as hard and as a result I make sure my free time is QUALITY TIME for me and whoever I spend that time with. I love to travel and do it on a moments notice and sometimes I travel with an extensive plan. I allow my mood to decide what type of drink I indulge in but there is nothing equivalent to drinking a grey goose martini with a great looking date!
I like to cook. I consider myself to be a beginner but I have passion and I know that I will do it until I become very good at it. I am 3/4's Italian and 1/4 Russian - they say I have the Russian Jaw whatever that is. I think I have the best of both worlds in terms of food and looks (ha!). I work out regularly as you can probably tell from my pictures. I play for a national softball team and travel quite extensively in the spring and summer. I am a former college basketball player and played at a pretty high level when I was younger. Now the local leagues are the only thing left to do with regards to hooping it up. I have two awesome and beautiful daughters that are my joy in life - both are older and on their own thus allowing me - ME TIME!
I am a very confident man, with great self esteem looking for that special person. That may take some time but I am willing and able. I have a great career and I want someone that has balance in life. Someone who takes care of themselves physically, emotionally, financially, intellectually, spiritually, etc. Of course, we all have our strengths but some people tend to dominate their life in one capacity and be really strong in one area and let the others fall off the side of the table. For me - I think they are all important and to have a balanced person is to have someone that you can look at and admire, want to be with, share everything with, and be that someone special to forever. To get something you've never had, you have to do something you never did.
My faults lie in the fact that I am not frugal. I enjoy spending rather than saving. I saved all my life now its time to enjoy my time - do you agree? Write if you have any interest.
