I am a nice guy and nice looking, too. I'm told that I'm a very good listener and that I'm very compassionate. I am recently separated and getting divorced. I have three kids (youngest is 19) that I love very much. I am a respectful and responsible person that enjoys socializing with fun people. I've done a lot of thinking in recent years as a fallout of my divorce. I know what I want and what I don't want in a relationship. I know what motivates me and what captures my attention. I'm looking for a girl that is a slight tease, but does not play hard to get; someone that is not afraid to take risks to show she cares; someone that is not too assertive but is willing to reach out to hold my hand; and someone that appreciates the care that I would show her. What's on the outside is important to me (after all, I'm a guy), but it is what's on the inside that counts.

I'm a very giving person. The picture of me is from my recent involvement in The 3 Day Walk for breast cancer. I was a Crew Member working Pit Stop 1. I dressed that way because I wanted the walkers to have a smile on their faces as they left our stop. And boy did they smile! I really made a difference with helping to make their walk a little more enjoyable. One woman commented that I "put a smile on a tired girl's face." That comment made it all worthwhile. I've been told I'm confident in an appealing way, not in an obnoxious way. You must admit that it's pretty gutsy of me to post that picture on a site like this.

And, just so you know... I don't usually dress like that :)

What would I do for a first date??? That's an interesting question. My first date would be with someone that wanted to be with me. So, what would I do? I would just be myself. We would talk, get to know one another, and share stories about our life. If a romantic spark happens, then we go from there. If not, then I would enjoy my time making a new friend.
