About Me
I've been told that before you "cross-over" your whole life flashes before your eyes. Well, I want to make mine something worth watching! I'm looking for something more from life! I Work hard, I play hard and I'm accountable for everything I do. I love a challenge and I have a unique gift that can change a "Lion into a Lamb." I have a great sense of humor and I love to laugh (especially at myself.) I'm confident and secure with myself but my other (better) half is missing. That makes me feel incomplete? I grew up in a small Pennsylvania coal mining town and I traveled around the country for work. My job even took me to Alaska for nine months. I moved to Chicago and I started my own business in 1997 and I've been committed to it ever since. I believe it's not how many times you get knocked down... it's how many times you get back up! I'm looking for a friend first. Some one that I can take out to dinner, a movie, live theater, a Cubs (or Sox) game, I'll even go miniature golfing. I'll try anything once. If I like it, I'll try it twice!!! Miniature golf isn't as exciting as sky diving but I'm up for that too! I've been left for dead several times, crashed cars for fun and just lived on the edge for a long time. (Unfortunately, I still sometimes get those urges.) Now my older (wiser) side wants to find someone that I can cuddle up on the couch with after a stressful day and share a bowl of popcorn. I'm looking for someone special that I can call when I have such great news that I'll burst if I keep it inside! (I get a lot of that lately!) When I say friends first that's because I don't want any pressure or expectations, nor do I wish to apply any. I'm told that I'm great to be around when I can just be me. It takes a little while for me to feel comfortable and loosen up. Once I feel at ease, I can be quite dynamic. If this sounds like a fit, I can't wait to hear from you! What about Bob!
First Date
Lunch, coffee a bike ride or just a drink. I prefer some place quiet where the conversation can just "happen". I spend most of my day on the phone and I believe I can read people before I ever meet them. (I've been told that is a gift). Maybe we can exchange numbers sometime and you can see for yourself. For now an e-mail is a great ice breaker.
bobinalong has 2 roses that can be sent.
