I am very down to earth; I love the outdoors, especially the water, and I have an adventurous side that gives me a genuine interest to try out new things, but with most things, it’s always more enjoyable when you can do them together with someone else!

I have a daughter [age 8] that I have sole custody of; I work hard to give her a safe and loving home, and I enjoy volunteering with Girl Scouts, school, church, and various children’s charities. I have a huge heart and a great sense of humor; I am also quite comedic and have a natural knack to make people laugh. I am also a big hockey fan (I was born and raised in Canada) so I like to wear my team’s jersey and have some fun & friendly competition / hackling among my friends. I love to cook, and consider myself a bit of an accomplished cook, (I’m just not going to ask Chef Gordon Ramsay for his opinion) I love to make up new recipes, and I haven't poisoned anyone yet!

I am looking for my best friend first, and with the right person; explore the possibilities. Someone who loves children and can be a kid themselves at times. someone who can make me laugh, be romantic, and someone to watch thunderstorms with. (or snow as the season is soon approaching us) Is this person you??
