Okay, here's the deal:

I've never been one for the club/bar scene. I’d much rather be spending an evening out with some friends, or a night in with takeout and a good DVD. I love going to the movies.

I often joke that I was born in the wrong era. I love almost everything to do with the 1920s and 1930s.. I'm a big fan of silents and pre-Codes (don't knock 'em until you've tried 'em). I definitely read too much for my own good – mostly bios and the “darker” classics like Bronte. I am very interested in other faiths and cultures - the world is too big for one path to be the "right" one. Oh, and I love animals of all kinds!

Things I like to do: Museums, coffee houses, cozy venues with live music. I'll kick your butt at mini-golf or perish in the attempt. (Bowling and pool much the same.)

I’m low-maintenance. *laughs* Old-fashioned glamour has my heart, yet I don’t like manicures, often go without makeup on the weekends, and don’t mind getting dirty. This apparently makes me odd, but I’d rather go with “quirky”. I'm sure there are women on here with much flashier profiles...but this is me, and I hope you drop me a line.

For a first date, coffee and conversation sounds just about right.
