I just can't be vague and say very little about myself like the majority of the people here at POF. The more you know, the more interested you are. And vice versa, the less you know the less interested you are.

I'm 6' 7" tall, a true giant, blue eyes, my hair color depends on my mood when I dye it, but right now it's blackish gray, 50, widowed in March of 2003, still has a zest for life. Loves God, tries to be a Christian and do the next right thing, loves the outdoors, children, and dogs. I'm not a perfect holy roller. I still sin, just not as much as when I was younger. I do go to church every Sunday to worship.


Was born in St. Louis, MO. of German decent on a Friday and the 13th too and 13 is my lucky number. I was raised since I was 1 year old on a very small farm near Claremont, Illinois and we had horses, dogs, and hogs.

I have lived and worked in the oilfields of Texas, Oklahoma, & Wyoming for the majority of my life. I have an Associate's in Applied Science degree in Petroleum Technology from Lincoln Trail College (LTC). I also have a Drilling Technology Certificate from LTC.

Served in the U.S. Army from 1976-79. Was in El Paso, Texas, Point Barrow, Alaska, & Mannheim, West Germany in the military.

I have one sister that lives in the country near Sumner, Illinois and one brother who lives in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces ages 16, 17, 19, 22, & 24.

Most of my cousins and remaining aunts live in/near Puxico, Lake Wappapello, Morehouse, Dexter, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Wentzville, and Kansas City in Missouri, & Granite City, Madison, Collinsville, Cahokia, Belleville, and Pocahontas in Illinois.

I have lived for long periods in Corpus Christi, Texas, Victoria, Texas, Elk City, Oklahoma, and Gillette, Wyoming working in the olifields.

When my wife died (of all days, she died on my birthday in 2003) I moved here to get away from the memories and her relatives.

My real mother died in 1985 of breast cancer and she was only 43 years old. She was an accountant whom I idol. She drove 150 miles everyday round trip to go to college full-time, had 2 part-time jobs, took care of 3 children and her husband and managed to get a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a 4.0 GPA. She was high honors every semester, Who's Who in American Colleges, and made the Dean's List every semester too. She was a very amazing woman.


I have one daughter Kerri Lynn (23) who lives in Olney, Illinois and she has blessed me with 2 beautiful precious granddaughters Angel Marie (2) and Kaydeth Ann Michelle (3). They were born one year and one day apart from each other. Family is a big part of my life.


I don't drink any alcohol, I don't use any illegal illicit drugs, and I don't smoke. I don't care if you drink as long as you don't get drunk and stupid. I definetly don't want any dopers around me. I do have 4 tattoos (3 are not visible) and 1 piercing that is not visible. I used to run with the big dogs when I was younger until I got wise and realized that addictions will only lead to far worse things like jails, institutions, and/or death.


I'm very low maintainence. It doesn't take very much effort or imagination to entertain me or keep me happy.


I'm a hopeless romantic, sweet, kind, sentimental, trustworthy, very strong, honest, very intelligent, a semi-photographic memory, loyal, open minded, dependable, faithful, and affectionate giant teddybear. I like to hold hands, I give the best hugs EVER, I like kissing and cuddling just like a giant teddybear. Have you seen my big succulent lips? They were made for sensual kisses and kissing. I wear my heart on my sleeve so be gentle, kind, and caring with me.

I may not be handsome to you, but my heart and charm makes up the difference.


I have NEVER EVER hit or abused any woman in my entire life. I was raised that if a man hits or abuses a woman he's not a man.


I will stand up for the woman of my dreams. I believe that all ladies deserve to be treated like the queen that they are or that they can be.


My biggest fear is not dying; it's being alone in life without someone to share it with. After all, we all need to be loved, so why not share it with the one you love.


Would like to find a woman for dating, friendship, and/or eventually leading to a long term relationship and/or marriage. I want a woman who wants me; not for any other alterior motive. I need to find true love again and to have that woman complete me. I don't want any woman that just wants me for my millions.
