I am quite shy but warm up once I get to know the person. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I've been described as sincere, kind, a good listener and very down to earth.

I love to read, whenever I get the chance. I love songs from 70s and 80s, leisure walks, travel to various tropical locales. I volunteer in a local youth soccer organization as well.

I consider myself somewhat of a cultural hybrid having the best of both worlds - east & west; have lived in Canada and States for a little over 37 years.

Character is a trait that is of utmost importance to me! Success in my chosen career does not define who I am but my character does. I consider myself a work in progress on a daily basis in becoming a better human being.

When it comes to a serious relationship, my long-term goal is to build a foundation where you would be my greatest friend with whom I can have interesting conversations over our life time. I am looking for someone who is laid back and gets along well with people. Being affectionate and passionate is also important. Patience, humility, kindness and compassion toward others is paramount. Integrity, dependability, trustworthy and loyalty are crucial as well.

You most definitely need to have a sense of humor, as laughter is really the best medicine. Maturity, intelligence and the ability to have a rational/logical conversation is a big asset. If you are willing to learn from your mistakes and become a better person because of them, then I salute you. Your goal in a serious relationship should be to develop an affectionate, honest, supportive relationship where each other's happiness would be your priority. In short, a decent, simple and loyal person.

I am the proud father of three boys, 19, 16 and 14; although they do not live with me at present, I am quite involved in their lives.
