I am known by friends to be bubbly and energetic.
I enjoy fishing, camping, walking, travelling, enjoy trying to play guitar for my own enjoyment. I love to dance and dine.Camping is one of my favourite outings for the summer.
I was raised on a farm in Nova Scotia,arrived in BC at the age of eight.
I became very interested in art drawings and writing poetry ( still have a few poems hangin' 'round from when I was 17)I also make and sell 3D pictures as a small business. I work a lot in my garden in the summer. I split wood and pack it in the winter (interesting huh!) I enjoy x-country skiing and walking in the snow. I'm retired but I'm a homebody mostly. Who likes going places and doing things by themselves?? Not I!.....although at times I will take off on the spur of the moment in my car or Avalanche and go 3 or 4 hours away from home.
I have a conure bird which I spend a lot of time training. I don't have a dog. I don't have a cat (very allergic to cats) I enjoy country/western music, some classical, some jazz. I never listen to opera. I watch "The Doctors" and "Oprah Show" when I'm not busy !.

It is so difficult to put this in words but I hope someday to meet a friend then what happens from there could be a blessing. He should be loving, trusting,enjoy the things I like doing besides the things he enjoys doing.Understanding,respect and trust are the 3 main ingredients for getting along together. I am like the tree out in the backyard...I can bend NOT only when the wind blows but also for others whom are close to my heart.I prefer to talk about doing things or going places or buying big things for us as partners!Quiet conversations can work out wonders in partnership.I'm a follower not a leader.I don't go around with the big "M" on my forehead either.
