Not looking to rush into anything serious, but certainly looking for someone to spend time with and just get out and enjoy life. Movies, dinner, traveling, going for drives, concerts, museums, whatever. If it eventually leads to something serious then that would certainly be cool too. I think friendship is key to any lasting relationship; without that there's nothing to build on. No expectations right off the bat, but no limits to what it could become either. Just see what happens and enjoy what the world has to offer.

I'm told I have a laid-back easy-going personality and looking for someone compatible. I work a lot and like to just wind down and chill when I have free time. I like history, good books, traveling, antiques, museums, movies, documentaries, and I'm a big ol nerd and a news junkie. I love good UNhealthy food- meat and potatoes, enchiladas, pizza, a good steak, bacon sammiches, pasta, etc. Love a good beer, good scotch, good tunes (rock preferred, but anything from classical to bluegrass is cool), maybe a few games of pool, football, and NASCAR. Also enjoy all aspects of the outdoors- camping, fishing, going for drives to nowhere in particular, hiking, and target shooting. I find it to be a great way to relax. I like good movies that make you think, or just lounging in front of the tube watching the History Channel, DIY, or any of the endless number of Cold Case/Forensics Files/48 Hours cop justice kinda shows.

I enjoy the simple things and appreciate what really matters in life: good times with good company, family and friends, and being content after a hard day's work. I'm originally from a small town, prefer the country over the city life, but I don't really consider myself to be a hick. I just appreciate the quiet serenity of the countryside and nature without all the hustle and bustle of traffic and noise. I suppose I can be considered well-read, well-traveled, well-educated, and remotely intelligent, so I guess that counts for something, eh? lol

Just be real, be yourself, be honest, and I'll do the same.
