In describing myself, I would have to start by saying I am many different things to many different people. Part of my charm I guess.

First and foremost, I am a mother to three children aged 18, 16 and 14 years old. They are great kids and are a special part of my life. The two oldest live with me full-time and my daughter goes every other week to her dads house. However, given their ages, I now find myself alone many Friday and Saturday nights. I have been divorced for 8 years and would like to say that I enjoy my independence. I have the best of both worlds, I live in the country and work in the city and mix well in both environments. I love to travel and do so as much as I can. I am confident and value respect in a relationship and man of his word but look for the actions to back them up.

I am an IT professional with a very happy, dynamic career in the government. I like my job and really am one of those crazy people who love to get up most mornings and go to work. My career is stable but challenging. It's the one part of my life I probably take a little too seriously sometimes. But I miss having another adult to share my days with and put things in perspective sometimes.

I am also a great friend and belong to a big, active family. I love my family and friends! We are close but respectful of our differences. They have been there for me during some really difficult and really great times and a remain a big part of my life. If you can believe them, they tell me I am cute, a great cook, a good friend and outgoing. I like to be around others but I know my limits and when I need some downtime.

A good match for me would be someone who is intelligent, funny, active, level headed, self-sufficient, flexible and loves to travel. Someone who can go from city to country easily, likes to work but finds time to think/help others and who doesn't mind a full house sometimes and a good movie/book other times. I need a romantic but I seem to like a little alpha male mixed in.

Hopefully, this guy exists out there for me...if you think you may be him, I would really like to meet you. I would like to take things probably a little too slow at first and really need get to know someone before I become too attached.
