I am a quirky, goofy, loving, glass-is-half full kind of girl. I have the greatest friends, and love hot yoga, new music, going out with friends on the weekends, people watching, and taking my dog on every hiking trail I can find. As much as I like to get out though, I appreciate nights to just stay at home and lay low - I am an undefeated pictionary protegy. :) I am also one of the only people I know that truly loves my job. It's an exhausting job, but I've never wanted to do anything else. I worked hard to get where I am, and I'm grateful to be doing what I love. I get stoked about traveling, and want to do more internationally. Goals would be Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, and really, I'd love to play around in South America for a little while. And what I ultimately want (not "need" - this is an important distinction) is someone beside me. Someone who finds happiness in the simple things, doesn't sweat the small things, and wants to hold my hand through all things.

A few little tidbits:

I will defend my mom's spaghetti until my dying day - it IS the best.

My dog has a few screws loose - we go together well.

My pandora channels are Sigur Ros, Paolo Nutini, The Beatles, Katie Herzig, and Miranda Lambert. I'm listening to the Paolo Nutini one now.

I had the best trip of my life this summer in Alaska. It's probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I can't wait to go back.

I think it's silly that if you don't want to pick a "fish personality", your option is "no personality." Sad.

I'm really nerdy about things I'm interested in. I just finished reading a medical memoir by a neurosurgeon called "Another Day in the Frontal Lobe." Kudos to the guy who's not embarrassed to sit with me in a coffee shop while I read it. :)

I love first dates, the goal to not do anything stupid in front of someone you're trying to impress (or not, depending on how the night's going...haha) So anything from the zoo or the museum, to just sitting and grabbing coffee or meeting for happy hour (whoo hoo!) and walking around somewhere downtown.
