Whatever happened to the girl next door? Did she move away? She always smiled when she saw me and would give me that look that told me she cared. She wasn't a beauty queen, just an attractive girl that took care of herself. She does justice to jeans and a T shirt, yet when she dressed up, she could get your heart to skip a beat. She enjoyed being a woman. We could talk for hours about our hopes and dreams or just about nothing at all. We knew we could trust each other. Tell each other anything and it was safe. She knew I didn't have much, but I was willing to give her everything I had. The best times were spent sitting together and sharing one bottle of coke.

I am a man who gives his all to everything he involves himself with. I've always said what I think and stood up for what I believe in. I appreciate affection. Being close, holding hands, gazing into each others eyes and kissing. I am man enough to treat you like a lady and not afraid to cry watching the movie. I don't have much money. I suppose I never will. I'm not able to buy you expensive things or steal you away to Paris. But, if you're the girl next door and understands what is important, you'll know that I have so much to give you.

I believe God will bring us together.

Then, maybe we can share a bottle of Coke.
