Although when I first meet someone, I tend to be shy and slightly reserved, but will open up as I get to know you better and get a bit more outgoing. I am an honest sincere respectful southern gentleman...I do enjoy having fun, going to theme parks and riding roller coasters, travel, snorkeling, UGA college football, sunsets along the beach, and more...I am fully capable of carrying on a good conversation on just about any subject and am tolerant of other opinions...I would love to find a lady that is also capable of carrying on a good conversation, good sense of humor to match my sometimes quick or warped sense of humor...I was raised on what we now refer to as classic rock and pop~led zepplin, doobie brothers, abba, black sabbath, fleetwood mac, the youngbloods, neil diamone and more, but if you listen to what is now referred to as todays hot new country, the sounds are so very similar to the pop music of the 70s. I also enjoy good new country as well as a lot of the classic country when it was more country than it is today...I also enjoy a lot of the old school black~the stylistics, barry white, al green, lou rawls, the o'jays, and others...the so called musicians today in that category could take lessons from them and learn a lot...can sit for hours and listen to celtic music also...and I am ready for the next celtic woman show at the pensacola civic center next year~had totally awesome seats at the show this year...just have to see when they will be here again...also love to kick back and listen to a good band playing.

I have been told by many that I am always able to make them smile when they are down and need it the most...I do offer good advice, and an ear to listen to problems and provide the shoulder to lean on when needed...my best friend would tell you that I am one that can be counted on when needed and will always treat you with respect and another will say my bark is worse than my bite...and my bite is just a nibble...I am honest and expect honesty in return...I dont play games nor do I condone game players, and disrespectful people...

when it comes to filling in these blocks I never know what to say, and find it easier to say, ask what you want to ask...ALL questions will always be answered fully and honestly cause I do firmly believe that when one lies about something or tries to cover it up, it WILL come back and bite them in the ask me not to say it lol, and I dont like to get bit that way...actually prefer to get the nibbles on the right ear :LOL: but anyways...you want to know more?? ask away, and I will respond in kind.

I just have one pet peeve to mention...proper etiquette here calls for everyone, irregardless of the numbers of messages you receive to respond in some manner, even if to say thank you but no thank you...and yes, I have responded to all that I have received, in some manner...so lets not leave the other person sitting there waiting and wondering...a simple thank you for your contact would always be most appreciated, and make the sender think that much more of you :) now y'all, have a great day, night, or whatever it happens to be now...

first dates are often very awkward...and sometimes the best laid plans get fouled up, so I normally would prefer a nice dinner in an atmosphere where we can talk and get better acquainted, soft or light background music but not something we would have to yell over to be heard...beyond the dinner what we would do next we could decide on during or after dinner...maybe even a nice sunset walk along the beach followed by some wine and more good conversation...or see how things go and just wing it from there...
