I am an old fashioned romantic, who treats a lady like a lady. I have a great sense of humor, enjoy good conversation, love all animals, and like to explore new places. I like most music, old movies, good books, and the company of a special person. I hope she has a good sense of humor, likes animals, and doesn't mind getting flowers, having doors opened for her, and being treated like a lady. She should think that holding hands and hugging are important forms of communication, and that public displays of affection (within reason) are special. I have been accused by reliable sources of being good looking, and I am well educated. Oh by the way, in case of confusion, I have a 3 year old pug named Teddy, who is my best friend. I spent 20 plus years in the army as an intelligence analyst, so have traveled widely, but would like to do more. Looking for a best friend, companion, and love of my life. I believe that character counts more than looks, money, or job. I am fairly politically conservative, and I believe in God and Country. I have spent the last few years working in the business side of health care, but I am toying with the idea of taking enough classes to allow me to do some counseling for some of our veterans. I have also been involved in animal rescue work, and hope to continue that.

I would hope to find out the likes and dislikes of my date, and cater the date accordingly. A good restaurant, some flowers, and maybe a walk or just sitting and getting acquainted.
