If you like intelligent conversation, integrity, and a sense of humour, a man who is honest, an independent thinker, a leader, and a romantic, I could be your guy.
I've made a living in the music business for most of my life (singer/songwriter, guitarist, karaoke host, event organizer, and the founder of a nonprofit music society) but for some reason the music gods haven't seen fit to make me a star. So I came up with a new plan. In May 2007, I went back to university to finish what I started many years before. I got a BA degree (history major) in December 2008 and have applied to the UBC Graduate School of Journalism, where I expect to start in September: two more years for a Masters degree, and then I plan to become a famous writer or, at least, a successful one.
Part time work and student loans don't allow for a lavish lifestyle these days... but so far I'm hanging on to my own place (in case you wondered if I'm living with mom!)
I'm not looking for a meaningful overnight encounter. It's true love, mad love, passionate love ... or bust! Oh, and yes, I do believe in being best friends as well. I'm looking for a lady who is attractive in body, mind and soul: sexy, sweet, and smart, with a little bit of soul.
If you think there's a chance that we could fall madly in love, forget all those other pretenders. Send me a message in a bottle, and let's get on with fulfilling our romantic destiny together. Does that sound arrogant? If so, I bet it made you smile anyway ... mission accomplished!

extensively online and have alot of the same beliefs.

This is a man that is passionate about his beliefs and will
stand alone if he feels it makes a difference.
Ron is honest has integrity and will treat you with respect.
He says what he means and means what he says.
Drop him a line he will respond. That was the first thing that
got my attention, that he had manners. Alot of men will ignore
the fact that you have taken the chance to contact them, he is
not like that, he will respond with not only kindness but
respect.
