Looking for guidance into the next stage, I took the Strong Interest Inventory test and scored high on creativity and nearly flunked reality. This was not a surprise and probably explains why I prefer an art museum to a ski slope (very un-northwest of me). I'm a moderate tree hugger who hopes to get back to the firing range if I ever have the time, but there're a big yard and dogs to tend on weekends. I love county fairs as much as I did when I was a child. I would like to meet someone with wide interests--from going to author readings to trying out dragon boating (haven't done it yet)to being a community volunteer. I am no good at telling a joke and will love laughing at yours. I think I come across as fairly serious at first; the playful part reveals itself later, like a prairie dog popping out of a hole when the ferrets are gone. Speaking of reality: I can't correct the birthdate error in the profile (nor can I change the gender, so I'm glad I got that right) but real date is that great year 1952.

As long as I don't feel like I'm being interviewed for a job....One of my best first dates was going with a guy to the rat club show. For real! Doing something easy and casual is way better than sitting with lattes interviewing each other.
