Hey there,
A few changes.....I'm still a reasonably fit grown up woman (but not too grown up) who is looking to meet a reasonably fit grown up (but not too grown up) guy. I like music a lot - I subscribe to CKUA and and love to get out to hear to live independent and local artists. I have been seen at the opera and the CPO too (usually wearing my good jeans). I read a lot and even watch a little TV. I really believe that Jack can get anywhere in LA in 20 minutes.

I'm lucky enough to live near the Bow River and hit the pathway on foot or on my bike pretty often. I'm becoming Tim Tam junkie. I would love to watch more movies - preferably cuddled up with someone - maybe you? If there is a surf instrumental playing anywhere near-by I'll channel a "Beach Blanket Bingo" girl and go crazy. Fortunately no videos have appeared on You-Tube. I like to get outdoors - tho not so much in winter (I'm a bit of a weather wimp). I camp in a tent in the summer and I find chopping wood oddly Zen. I really have to learn to take the (down)hills more aggressively on my bike.

I'm definitely more pub than club. Though if you want to take me somewhere else, I'm game for dressing up. Just give me enough time to shop for that little black dress - oh and the shoes. I like food - even complicated multi-ingredient food to both cook and eat. I like men - complicated or not. I really don't like to have my picture taken -but I've added one - it was taken last summer to show long lost Scandinavian relatives what I look like. I haven't changed much since then. The cat, however, has put on a couple pounds. (I've added a couple too - on the machines at the gym.)

Evidently I'm supposed to talk about my goals and aspirations -well - here I am, happy with who I am and what I'm doing even though I haven't written the great Canadian novel yet. Maybe I should also aspire to a car made in this century?
Why is it that I don't have the option of saying that my car is over 18?

I'd like to meet someone who enjoys at least some of the same things and could show me a new thing or two. It's not so much about what you do or where you do it - it's about who you are with. I would love to find that spark with someone special and who knows...build a fire together. I might even let you chop some of the wood!

Hmm. A first date. I like food - so dinner or lunch is a good plan. But maybe something else too. Bowling? Mini-golf? The Zoo? A bike ride so we can compare helmet hair? Actually, a baseball game could be a good first date. Lots of time to talk between pitches, but something to watch to take the heat off a bit. There's always the old stand-by of drinks or coffee.
