To me, a first date is pretty simple. It should be about going somewhere to grab drinks and/or dinner, but somewhere that will allow for good conversation. The first date is important to get to know each other. My ideal first date would be one that I would get to know a lot about you. Doesn't matter where we end up going, so long as the conversation is good. We can/should talk about anything - except religion & politics - that's a third date policy!
