| | Ok, after much promting I'm adding to the profile. About me. From my experince and observations I say (it's early morning and I've been up all night. spelling may be off somewhat. where dat spell check) Comments/Criticisms/Complaints Welcome. ON LIFE IN GENERAL "During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - George Orwell If you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly. If you stand for nothin', you'll fall for anything. Sometimes a swift kick in the rear will get you further down the road than a pat on the back. There's no such thing as a stupid question, but sometimes stupid people ask questions. You can't be white all your life. Age is just a state of mind. (Actually that's not 100% true, but hopin' you'll believe it) If you can't stand the answer, don't ask. Don't seek permenant solutions for temporary problems. Don't drink and drive. Don't even putt. Sex is not a spectator sport. It is something in which one must participate to get the full value. Seek first to understand, then to be understood. FOR WOMEN Fashion comes and goes, but elegance is always in style. The only thing a woman needs to know how to make for dinner is a reservation. It takes a helluva man to be better than no man at all. Kissing with your mouth open will not get you pregnant. It is a good start, however. On make-up, you can't improve on perfect, but if the barn needs painting, paint the barn. It's not how he makes you feel when you're with him that matters. It's how being with him makes you feel about being you that's important. ON POLITICS Free market capitalism is the only road to wealth and prosperity. Speak softly and carry a big stick. The capitalistic system works and is the most efficient method for the allocation of resources. What doesn't work is government intervention in it. Don't legislate social policy through the tax code. Don't grade, trade! I found this to be most important piece of advice I ever got. I pass it along to you now. For free, even!!! LOOKING FOR Someone with whom everyday is Christmas, every night is New Year's Eve.
AND FINALLY In the end, it's not what you accomplished or how much you accumulated, it's who you loved and who loved you that's important. |
