Hi there

So...I'm a laid back-sort of silly- sarcastic New Yorker trapped in CT. Short and blond I'm usually smiling .. doing something.. a lil offbeat. I believe everything in life has a beat and I like mine to be off, syncopated if you will.

I'm easily amused and love observing people and life.
Music is my epicenter. I enjoy so much and love hearing new stuff, live especially though I haven't seen enough.

I like other artistic means as well (drawing, poetry, painting, writing) but still have a feisty scientific side. I'm into biology and most facets of science such as immunology and microbiology. Critters that kill are cool; someday I'd like to be the one killing them. Lately particle physics has been keeping my interest. To know there's something smaller than an electron ..is kind of crazy.. I like things and people that are little bit crazy.

I really value people and relationships.
My family, as much as they drive me up a wall, are at the top of my list.
My friends, though new, are second on that list. I have fun with them drinking chillaxing rot like that.
But the people are definitely one of the reasons I still waitress (I have a B.A. in Biology), you come across the widest range of people from all different walks of life. I like helping people and making them happy. And the ironic part of that is that it's the PEOPLE that also make me want to tear my hair out and stop waiting all together.

But let's see-- I'm looking for a fun, chill dude who's got a good, clever head on his shoulders, a good wit about him, handsome smile, will treat me well, family oriented, has got his "issues" straight (or if he doesn't will lemme help and not be afraid of that) and isn't gonna go all uber selfish on me.

I will not be strung along.

I want kind of the yin and yang in a guy. A regular down-to-earth feller but be able to enjoy a little slice of the finer things in life...kinda rough around the edges but can clean up. I know that's quite a list. Evidently, I'm picky

If you have lots of interests it'd be cool. I'm into everything from a rock concert to a museum stroll or even better, a beach stroll, bonfire.. baseball game? cool. Want a movie? fine by me (my faves make me giggle i.e. 50 1st Dates, SUPER TROOPERS, Pineapple Express but I love a good drama or fright fest). A new Soul Calibur came out?.. well you'd better play me in it. And dinners, I do love nice dinners and nice wines...to go along w/ Broadway shows. I also ADORE the fun guy things such as BEER and its pong, air hockey, pool and poker.

oh, and the out of doors, I almost forgot! I adore outside, hehe as much as in. The beach is wonderful, a babbling brook, a gorgeous forest, SNOW. Summer sports, winter sports, hiking, Camping (S'mores!) Nature is so pretty and if I have a camera, I'm even happier to be able to capture it.

So yeah, I've rambled.. lemme know if you like what you read.

Btw I'm VERY against adultery and cheating so if you're married, seeing someone, or "looking for some play" don't bother.

BuuuuT if you're a good-hearted fella easy on the eyes.. (sorry there's gotta be that attraction factor.. everyone will agree) and you think we might hit it off, hit me up (there's an awful lot of hitting but dont go thinkin' I'm abusive.. I'm a lamb. :P )

I'm a lil rusty at sending emails to complete strangers so a first move would be nice but if I find you, I certainly don't mind making the move, in fact that's usually how I roll.

well vigorous, unrelenting sex of course. Haha, no. In a different world without stigmas and diseases and AIDS, perhaps, but not here and not now.

I've had some GOOD first dates, I've had some BAD first dates. Basically I don't like dating, hehe but for THE date I like whatever. Let's just hope we hit it off, that's all I'm asking. Going for a beer, going for coffee.. so long as we're having fun. Hell, six flags could make for a great first date.. so long as you like roller coasters :)

I will say that going to a movie is something I WON'T do for a first date. I want to hear about you, not pay 10 bucks to NOT talk with you.
