I DIDN'T SIGN-UP FOR IT, BUY IT OR ASK FOR IT AND IF I KNEW HOW TO MAKE IT GO AWAY, I WOULD!

I'm 44, don't look it or feel it, although I do have to act like it sometimes. I am smart, successful and sexy. I'm real, pretty much black and white, not a lot of gray, can hold a conversation, up for anything (as long as it's legal somewhere). Don't consider myself high-maintenance, but dress well and like nice things and don't expect anyone to get them for me. I'm human and make mistakes, but learn and grow from the experiences and do not repeat them.

Initial attraction is definitely important and I do know the type of man I am attracted to (MINIMUM of 5'10" or taller). He should be honest and someone that knows how to and is not afraid to communicate. Not into playing any games; to sum it up, I'm not looking for a husband (not now anyway), I just want to have some fun, meet new people and enjoy new experiences.

I am a girly girl but am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I love to shop, work out 4-5x week, I'm a great cook and enjoy wine, love sports -- football, baseball (Yankees of course!), UFC, boxing. I play golf although not at all this year (and am pretty good at it actually). I tried skiing last winter, enjoyed it and would really like to try snowboarding. Listen to a lot of different music. My job requires me to travel, sometimes often, sometimes not, but I enjoy it and am fortunate to get to go to some great places.

If you are easily offended and take things too personally, you should stop reading cause it seems the following gets taken way out of context, funny how woman get called names for being honest but men can get away with so much -- I am an honest person, not shallow or conceited in any way! We have ALL taken the time to check off certain characteristics on this site about what we are looking for in a companion, and let's face it, initial attraction is what it's all about, isn't it??? With that said, I'm not attracted to old men, out of shape men, men without jobs (not because you lost it due to the economy but because you don't want to work), men who haven't shopped in the last 6 months or seen the inside of a men's clothing store (not Sears or Target).
