Where should I start...I am a mom first and foremost of a beautiful 6 yr old who is the light of my life!!!

I am looking for someone who is educated, personable and self-confident. Funny guys need apply...life is all about laughing...its too short to do otherwise! Still here?? Good here I go..... I believe that everyone has a soulmate out there, just haven't found mine yet...maybe it's you...who knows. I am educated, funny and have half-way decent looks. I love to sing and oh yeah...sing some more. The first thing people say about me is....she's always smiling or singing or often times...BOTH!

I have lived in the metroplex for about 10 years...came here to complete my graduate degree. One thing I've had to get adjusted to is the "materialistic" values people portray....OH MY GOSH!!!! The $30,000/year millionaire mentallity really cracks me up! People constantly buy above their means...it is major in this city! I believe that providing for yourself and your children should be enough, but going over-board, well that's just crazy! I do have a beautiful home and a decent car...necessities..I have somewhat prioritized my life based on how to provide a stable environment for my daughter...and so far its worked...

I really enjoy hanging out with friends and family, working out and watching sports. I work with children with disabilities in the area and love it! I am a good friend and an even better partner. I am not much in to the bar scene these days as I feel its a waste of time and money. I love to cook and be cooked for...hehe...yes I will try the burnt stuff (its the thought that counts).

As far as who I am looking for...I thought I knew, but turns out, I've been all wrong. I have found in my search, that the "hot" guy is somewhat unobtainable and really not worth all the hype! I feel like sometimes if you really care about someone, they become hotter the more your feelings grow...and that's what I want. Physical attraction and COMMUNICATION are the keys to any good man. I would love to meet someone who is equally as motivated as myself, handsome and caring. Great kissing skills are also majorly important!!!! I am always looking for different things to do, so he must not be afraid to try new things! Controlling and jealousy need not apply...been there done that...even got the t-shirt for it...Thanks but uh, NO!!!

If you must know anything about me, know this...I don't judge people for who they were in their past, for it's their past who made them who they are today! I truly feel like everyone has baggage, it may not be as apparent as some, but none the less, it's still baggage. How you handle your baggage is key!
