 | Well My First Date with Frank was magnificent!! The man was looking for a Lady within his home area of Vancouver.. I was In Alberta with no pic.. and He messaged me.. after speaking online and over the phone continuously for 2 days he booked a flight and Flew to take me to dinner..we had a Glorious time spent the most Beautiful night Together.. and It was like we had never been apart ever! In all of my 39 Years I have NEVER EVER felt so at home even with my own company as I did and still do with Frank.. He Truly is My Other half.. Completing The Whole as it should be is meant to be for everyone...  | I had been a member of POF for a couple of months when Martin became a member. I approached him and told him that he was far too good looking to be on here. We started chatting only as friends and soon exchanged email and we were chatting daily on MSN. After a couple of months we met up (still only as friends) and before we knew it we were inseperable. At about 2 minutes past midnight, New Years Eve, I told Martin that Yes, I would move in with him. At about 10 am on the morning of May 10th, Martin told me that Yes, he would marry me. Our wedding is set for October at Gretna Green. We couldn't be happier. Thanks POF, this is one success story that will have a Happy Ever After... |
 | I was pushed onto POF by 2 nosey friends that couldn't stand the thought of me being single. After 7 months of no keepers, I received an email that made me literally LOL. I replied to this man and the door was opened. We emailed on POF for 2 months before we ever even spoke on the phone. He was smart and witty and well written. He could write letters and tell stories in emails that made you feel like you were standing there being part of them. After 2 months of letters (2 and 3 a day) I received an email that said and I quote, "Well I have decided that you aren't a psycho killer LOL. So here is my home number. Give me a call sometime." I called this wonderful man that evening and 6 hours later we hung up. After a month of hours and hours on the phone he FINALLY asked me out. We went to dinner and had an amazing time. There was NO nervousness. I knew this man. We had talked for MONTHS. After dinner in Georgia we went traveling and ended up in Tennessee for dessert. During dessert I mentioned that Alabama was only 20 miles away and he was game. He was willing to travel just to say he did it. So away we went. We hit 3 states on our 1st date and loved every second of it. 2 months later he told me he loved me. 2 months after that we were engaged. 3 months after that we were living together. And finally 10 months after moving in together we were married. I just want to say THANK YOU PLENTY OF FISH for helping me find my other half. True love IS out there and it CAN be found online. All it takes is some patience and being willing to practice catch and release until the right fish takes your bait. |
 | I been on Plenty Of Fish since July of 2007. I joined not too long after seeing the founder on NBC's "Today" show. I had used the "pay sites" previously. I been spinning in my heels meeting women whom were either too long of a drive away or those not ready to let go of their past. I made my POF profile based on "Friendship First". My longtime goal is to have a "step by step" relationship and "ease" my way towards seriousness if there is "sparks" along the way. When I was least expecting it I came across "Charlene" whom is from the Toledo area. I read her profile and it caught my eye. After a little talking and cell phone "texting" we agreed for a date. Charlene "broke through" my shyness and found the true caring guy I am. I absolutely adore her kids and my daughter Rachel will have playmates very soon. We been on several dates since we met on POF. It looks bright for the two of us and it is about time I found someone "my type"....... First MY FRIEND, second MY SOULMATE. |
 | After my divorce in 2005, I had a really hard time getting back on the dating scene. It took almost 1 1/2 years before I started looking again and I found PlentyofFish. After only a couple months on the site, I got in touch with Josh. We met on June 10, 2007 and have been together ever since. We're now looking for a place to start our lives at. We are so comfortable around each other, so open and so much in love, I just never though it would be possible to truly find my soulmate but I have. We are the perfect match in all the right ways.
