 | we first met with trav sending me a message on pof and after not getting meaasges on there for so long i wasnt going to reply but i did and then after a few messages back and forth i got on msn with him we begain to chat some more and i had a feeling i would like this man so i gave him my number and then got a text from him i called him later that night and we chatted every night after that then the fri came and the call was can i come up and meet with u and i was blown away so he came up to my home town of forster and then left the next day we texted and called non stop a week later he asked me to form a relationship and i was so happy i said yes it was the happyest night of my life untill the day he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and i said yes of coz so now we are living happy and strong planning our wedding. |

 | We both talked for awhile online after meeting on plentyoffish.com. We met for the first time at a bar on a Tuesday night. We hit it off right away. Of course the next day at work was not pleasant at all, but it was well worth it. From that point on we were head over heals for each other. I really had doubts about this online dating scene, but after meeting my fiance, I would recommend it to anyone. |
 | I'd been on and off plenty of fish for 5 years. When I met the woman who was to be my wife, it was completely different. For one thing, it happened fast! Within a couple days of first contact, we were chatting online. That first online chat was when I could tell she was really special. Within a week of first contact we were talking on the phone. She was 100 miles from me, but that was only a 2 hour drive and I was happy to meet her for our first date not more than 2 weeks after I sent her that first e-mail. I was excited, optimistic, relaxed, and joyful on that drive out there. I arrived at the coffee shop at noon. A stunning young woman came through the door and I did a double take when I saw her! She looked even better in person! That first date (and ever date thereafter) was magical. That first date was 7 hours, and we were both shocked at how fast time went between us. That set a pattern for us as our next dates were 9 and 12 hours each, respectively. We spent a lot of money on gas over the next few months, seeing each other all the time despite the distance. We are so perfect for each other, everything went supernaturally perfect. All her friends and family liked me, as did mine her. When we announced that we wanted to get married about 3 months after meeting, no one voiced any objections and there was a lot of excitement! The marriage was very small and pleasant, and we are having a wedding shower this weekend and a larger wedding celebration on a ferry boat in August. We have found a dream come true in each other and we are inseparable! Thank you POF! |
 | I can honestly say that I didn't get on POF looking for anything serious and for that I was unprepared for what God placed in my life. I have never met someone who give 110% in everything that he connects himself to. He is caring, gentle God fearing and constantly making me laugh. He understands me and protects, provides and loves me. If you were to ask him what I do for him, he would say I support him and build confidence that he can accomplish anything. We have had our shares of ups and downs and have been dealt a crazy hand over the last few months...but we have persevered and I am happy to say that we Love each other and there is nothing or anyone can do to change that.
