 | I couldn't believe it when I met Jeff. One look and I knew that he was the one. After a year of bliss, he proposed to me the night of our one year anniversary and I said yes! Everything about Jeff makes my heart sing. I never seriously thought I'd meet the love of my life on an online dating site, but I did and we've set the wedding date for March 2011. For those of you out there still looking, don't give up. It'll happen for you, too, one day. |
 | A friend of mine had told me about POF, explaining that it was sort of fun, you can contact anyone, and there was no fee. No fee? Wow. So I joined, met a few nice people, a few lousy people (hey, it's FREE), and then bailed because it got to be too much. Fast forward about 3 months, and I rejoin, post new photos, and when I check my email, the most angelic face appears at the top, along the "others who checked their email" line. The most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Stunning. Clicked on her profile, and she seemed fun, exciting, different. I got up the nerve to write a simple yet clever email to her, and to my surprise, she returned the favor, in a simple yet clever way. This was the beginning of what is now a beautiful relationship, full of love, hope, friendship, shared dreams, and mutual admiration. We emailed back and forth through POF for about two weeks, finally met, and immediately were both smitten. I was in love within 3 minutes. Tina may have taken longer, possibly 5 ;) We are now working towards moving closer to one another and building a life together. We couldn't be happier, and it's all because of a chance meeting on POF. I'm glad I took the chance and wrote an email; that little note to Tina changed my life. Thanks honey, you are the best. |
 | I met the my love of my life (which is Randy) on here at Plenty of Fish. I am 24 and Randy is 27. We both live in Alabama (before we met and now that we live together). Here is my story. I was single and tired of the whole dating thing it really wasn't working out too well and so one of my friend Katie gave me the name of the website I told her that I didnt think I wanted to go through all of the hassel of setting up the profile and everything that goes along with it just to in the long run not find anybody so she told to set up a profile anyways that it couldn't hurt to try so I did. I was on here for a couple of weeks and I saw this guys profile and like it so I decided to write him to see if he might would like to talk. I didn't exspect to really hear back from him but the next night that I got online to see if I had any messages he had sent me a message back. We started talking that night which was on February 28, 2009. After that night we talked every night from that point on. It seemed like everything just fell into place for us. It might sound crazy but I believe we knew the moment we met that we were made for each other. So now we're living together and will be married on June 6, 2009. Alittle bit soon I know but he's the one Im ment to spend my life with. I love him and he feels completely the same way about me as I do about him. He's wonderful. I couldn't have asked to have met anyone better. He's my everything. Don't give up hope that one true person is out there waiting to find you just like your waiting to find them. Take me and Randy as an example neither one of us exspect to find anybody on here but we did we found each other. And now in love and living together and getting married. We are completely so happy together. So good luck. Your soulmate is out there and when you find them it will be amazing. When you know you just know and don't let anyone evry tell you different. And to my future husband, Randy I love you. You truely are my Everything. Can't wait to become your wife and spend the rest of my life with you.  | I joined plenty of fish in 2007 but didn't have much luck at first. I talked to a few people and went on one date but couldn't find anyone I liked. Then I got an instant message from Gina and we started talking. We had a lot in common and I finally got the courage to ask her out. On our first date I got lost for two hours trying to find the Starbucks we were supposed to meet at, but when I finally got there she was still waiting for me and when she smiled at me I knew she was the one. On our one year anniversary I took her back to the same starbucks and proposed to her that night. I can't wait to marry her and spend the rest of my life with her. |
