We talked on the phone and internet like I stated for 2 weeks before meeting. We then met in Rockwell,NC where Bill lives and I am from Lumberton,NC. Keep in mind that this relationship was 128.6 miles apart, but distance did not stop our LOVE. We became engaged in December of 2008 and we recently married on February 21,2009.  | Well a friend of mine referred me to this site, i just wanted to check it out i had no intention of finding my soul mate. Maybe a couple friends but that's about it. I came across this guys profile and decided not to send him a message. Then when i returned to my inbox he had sent me a message. We started talking and we added each other to MSN. We talked on the phone a couple days later and met up a week after we started talking. 2 days ago was our 2 year anniversary, i never thought i would be the type of girl to have a long term relationship. Heck no one around me ever thought that either. But yet here i am 2 years later with the guy of my dreams. I couldn't ask for anything better. Thanks plenty of fish :) |
 | Well, after talking and meeting with a few guys on here and it didn't work out, I came across Jason. We talked on here for a while, then we started talking on msn. He lives quite a bit away, but he drove down to where I live and he came over to the house and we had a movie night. After only a few days of spending time with him, I knew that he was the one I was looking for! We made it official on New Year's Eve of this year, and I've never been more happy in my life! He is truly amazing, everything that I've ever wanted and more :) So don't give up yet, guys! He or she is out there waiting for you! Much love, -Sam :) |
 | I really never it would be possible and had my doubts, but thought it would be fun to at least try online dating. I was a serious "newby" at this and really only found one guy I was interested in. After a month of online chats and telephone conversations, we decided it was time to meet. He almost passed me by because I had not put a pic up on my profile! I really didnt want just anybody contacting me for my looks...I wanted him to get to know me first. To make the story kinda short, We met and I knew I was in love with him the day I met him (actually before) and hoped for more than just dating! He has been the most awesome person I have ever met! I love this man with all my heart. We now have a beautiful baby boy born last August and have future plans to get married. Thank you POF! |
