 | I honestly didn't have much hope for PlentyOfFish, not because I didn't think the site was valid but because hope seemed to be out of the question. I signed up for PoF and monitored my account off and on, just checking day to day. I never thought anything about it until I saw that Tim checked my profile. After that I had sent him a message. From there we messaged daily for about a week, then on the phone and PoF for a while. Eventually we planned to meet. I couldn't be any happier than I am now. I have found what forever feels like. I know that people are sceptic about sites like this, but if you just go into it positive and don't rely on it... you'll find love. I was a sceptic and now I found love. We met and it was instant.  | Its true--- fairie tales do still come true! On Valentines day 1996, I was just looking around this sight,with no real intentions or expectations. I got a message from a soldier serving in Iraq, and thought" well I will just say hello" So we began talking and became friends. We kept in close contact and exchanged our personal email and phone numbers after a couple of months. We knew that we had to meet as soon as he was able to come back to the states.This didnt happen untill Christmas, but we knew that this was worth waiting for. When the day finially came to pick him up from the airport, we were both a nervous wreck! But as soon as he walked through the door and our eyes met for the first time, It was a moment we will never forget! I knew that this was my soulmate walking towards me! I had waited 40 years for this! We were married on July 14th, 2007 and every day is happier than the day before! As it turns out we are from the same area in Tx. but our paths never crossed untill he went to Iraq. So thank you Plenty of Fish! It is through you that I fell in love for the LAST time in my life!  | I know people overuse the phrase…. “It was love at first sight”, But for me and Brennan, that was all there was to say. I messaged Brennan on POF the beginning of February and after emailing each other for a few weeks he asked me to a first date was on Valentine’s Day. He was so sweet, romantic, and boy was he cute! He had the most amazingly dark long eye lashes and the sexiest dimples I had ever seen. He was wearing a tie and a grin from ear to ear, I barely noticed he was bald. ? My prince charming picked me up at my parents house that night so I could drop of my daughter. And just as any gentleman would do, he greeted my mother and shook my father’s hand. My mom embarrassed the hell out of me (of course) and had to comment on how cute he was. I turned redder than a tomato. Before we left he surprised my 1 year old daughter “Tink” with a valentine just for her. He knew how much my 1 year old daughter meant to me, and knew just how to get to my heart. Brennan loves kids and that’s one of the main reasons I was attracted to him. Brennan bought an actual star in the sky and named it after my little princess. How sweet is that? How can you not fall in love with someone so romantic…so perfect…so handsome? Well… that wasn’t all he did that night. As the night went on, we went back to his house for a awesome dinner that he made himself and watched a few movies. Well…we tried to watch the movie but instead we were lost in conversation and as corny as it sounds, we were lost in each other. Ladies, he even got his guitar out and sang to me. That’s right girls, he can sing too!!! He took me home and there we stood next to each other, I didn’t want him to go. I felt my heart break because he was leaving me. I knew at that moment I wanted him forever by my side. We shared our first kiss that night and it was like a dream. In that moment nothing could have been more perfect, well …..except for my mother staring annoyingly out the window at us. Three days later, he admitted to me that he felt the same. He told me he loved me and we decided to get married. I started planning right away! He officially asked me just last week to marry him and gave me the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. It was everything I could ever want and more. He loves me and he loves my daughter and I can see in his eyes he will forever. On June 20th at 6:30pm we will marry each other and nothing in my life has ever felt so right. I truly am the luckiest person in the world. |
