Thanks to the freedom to view pictures and contact each other as we wished, we were able to establish a relationship online, and meet shortly thereafter.  | I had totally given up on dating when a friend of mine suggested POF. She was saying how there were so many handsome men on the site that I just had to see. I finally gave in and got a profile. The first few men that contacted me were not what I could have ever seen myself with so I was a bit discouraged with my first internet dating experience. While browsing profiles one day I came upon one that was simply worded and really spoke to me. It also helped that we were 96% compatible. So, I wrote him a little note saying I hoped he had a nice weekend. He wrote back and we clicked in so many ways. When we spoke on the phone, there wasn't a moment of silence....the conversation flowed like you can't believe. Neither one of us had ever had such a strong connection. We set up a date to meet one Sunday at a book store. I had it set in my mind that regardless of how well we got along on the phone we might not be attrated to each other. Needless to say....the attraction was totally there. We've been together over a year now and I still get butterflies talking about him and just thinking about him throughout the day. I truly believe I've found my soul mate and he tells me the same. We're planning a wedding for 2010. This whole experience makes me a true believer that there is someone out there for everyone.
