 | I put my ad on plentyoffish.com after a friend suggested it in July 2006. Within 30 minutes, he found me and sent an email. My ad read like a perfect description of him, cowboy, likes NASCAR and Jack Daniels, southern accent, the whole package. When we met, I knew he was exactly what I was looking for. We dated semi-long distance (2 hours apart) for a while, and then he moved to be closer to me. 2 1/2 years later we got married, and neither of us has ever been happier.  | Jacques and I first met here with messages. I was thinking of deleting my profile the same day. I had met a few men and nothing had clicked. I was at a point of giving up. He messaged me and I am glad he did. We began as friends and found that we had a lot in common. Both of us had lost our fathers in 2008, his just days before mine passed. We met for dinner and unfortunately he felt he had a lot going on in his life at that point so we decided to remain friends. Thank goodness he came to his senses and realized how wonderful I am and he e mailed me. We went out for dinner again and it was great! Since that time we have been together whenever we can and talk daily. We both feel that we have met our soul mate!! We are so very thankful to Plenty of Fish for giving us a portal to meet through. It is possible and very worth the wait! Do not give up, be honest with yourself and what you are looking for. |
 | It does exactly what it says on the tin!!!!!!! whilst looking forward to another christmas and new year on my own, i got the usual daily round of e-mails from POF. i opened it up and there she was emmyzbird. to cut a long story short we arranged our first date just before christmas 2007 and we are now planning our marriage and the rest of our life together. thankyou plentyoffish without you i wouldnt have found my soulmate. |
 | I can remember the first message mike sent me and i was like oh ya ok right there buddy! We set up a coffee date and we went for coffee and just relaxed by the time the date was over i was 8 diffrent shades of red and really wanted a kiss! He went in for the kiss and when he kissed me i knew he was the one!  | Hi my name is Mary. I met the man of my dream's Eric on August 29th 2008. We chatted here on POF for about a week before we decided to give eachother our phone number's. After that we chatted on the phone for hour's on end just getting to know eachother. That went on for another two week's before we decided to actually meet in person. That happened on September 12th 2008 and we've been together since. As the week's then the days went by we knew we couldn't be away from eachother anymore we decided to move in together. Here I am a single mom of two beautiful kids and him a wonderful dad of one beautiful daughter decide to live together as one. That happened a month after meeting eachother. Now we've been together 7 month's and are happier then ever. Eric proposed to me on February 13th 2009 and I of course said YES! That will be one of the day's I'll never forget. The other will be on September 12th 2009 which is our one year anniversary and the day we say "I DO"! We thought it would be wonderful to have our wedding be the same day we met in person since it was a great day we will never forget. Everything about this man I never thought could be true until I gave this site a chance and threw caution in the wind to find someone on on the internet.
