 | Wayne and I met on Plenty of Fish in July of 2007. After seeing his picture I viewed his profile and wasn't sure if I should message or not, so I didn't.I came home from work a few nights later and there it was an email from him I was kind of excited and kind of nervous all at the same time. I was a little bit skeptical about this whole meeting someone online thing anyway but I was going for this one.Next thing I knew he was there online and we were talking. We chatted online for the first few times and then on the phone for probably a week.Wayne asked me out for dinner and after careful consideration and a chat with my brother to make sure someone knew where I was going. We went to John's lunch in Dartmouth for dinner and the food was great.Then we proceeded to go to an antique car show where we met up with his cousin walked to Tim Horton's for coffee of course.He was a perfect gentleman and dropped me off at my brothers, with a little kiss goodnight off he went.We talked for several more days and then he brought me supper at work one evening and I am sure he thought I didn't eat for days but it was awesome best stirfry I had in a long time. After a few short weeks we were almost inseparable. In December of 2007 we went to the mall and he said you have to come in here with me and we went to the jewelery store where he purchased my engagement ring and he got on his knee and proposed right there in the store I couldn't believe it in my sweatshirt and tights and right infront of all these people we didn't even know.When leaving the mall the lady that sold him the ring came running to congradulate us. On April 18th 2008 we were married in a small church wedding in Fairview and we are still very much in love and almost coming up to our first wedding anniversary. I am sure the day I decided to go on Plenty of Fish was the first day of the rest of my life. Thank You to all the inside people who make it possible for people like us to meet our happiness which we may not have done without you. We are very greatfull for the Plenty of Fish site. |
 | Me and sharna met in may really through p.o.f she wasn't one of my matches so make sure u look further, she is amazin we been through alot since we met we only had one date and we wer compatible we broke up for a while but like they say if its meant to be it'll come back and it did we're in love we got enguaged on 1st of feb we are very happy together well i am lol im sure she is to lol so it just shows it can happen just keep fishing... |
 | Exchanged each others emails as we were chatting. Then stopped talking for a few months suddenly chatted again on msn because we couldn't remember who we were. Meet up that same very night because we found out we were going to the same gig. Then since then we can't spend anytime away from each other and i have to say that i have never been happier and fallen in love so quickly and surly with someone. She is also coming to live with me very soon, we also have planned to do everything together and hopefully will get married as we both seem to want it. I love Bex more than anything xxxxxxxxxx and thank you for helping us get together |
 | Well I posted an ad on her not expecting too much, then I met Wayne. I know it sounds unreal but after our first date, I knew he was the one. He had never been married nor had any kids. I am divorced and have a 15yr old girl. We are the best match I know. We met in April, he moved in with me and he changed his job in August. We have a great time together and happy times as a "family". I am so looking forward to the future with this man! THANK YOU PLENTY OF FISH!!!! Lori and Wayne I LOVE YOU WAYNE :) |
