 | Hello everyone!! I have been on POF for about 2 years. I have met some wonderfully interesting people, a few of whom ended up being very important friends in my daily life since meeting them. But to be honest, I really never thought I would find anyone who would make me say "he's the ONE." I really did not think that person even existed. And the strangest thing was, HE found ME. He was a very new member and had only been on the site for 3 weeks. He was very unsure about the logic behind this idea of online dating, but gave it a try anyway. He saw my profile, liked something about it and took a chance to write. I was very intrigued by his profile and also by the sweet email he sent. So I wrote him back and gave him my instant messenger information so that we could chat realtime online. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that VERY quickly turned into something more deep, profound and real. I could not believe that there was someone out there who liked everything I did and added a few I was not aware of. And to top it all off? He thought I was the most beautiful woman ever! I wondered about his sanity when it came to that point, but decided I was WAY too old to question it based on fading eyesight. lol So...to cut this rambling short, he told me on the phone tonight to "delete your profile from POF....you're DONE." I cannot describe how that made me feel since I had heard OF people saying to their significant other, but had never hoped to hear someone saying it to ME. So, thank you, POF, for providing a safe, user-friendly place to bring people together who are looking for substance in their lives Throughout the entire time I have used POF, I have always recommended it, but not like I will NOW!!!  | At a time when i was homebound, i turned to POF to see who was out there. I found Krissy, and our lives have been perfect since then! Every day i wake up knowing she is there, and my heart races in anticipation of our love blooming more every day. She is my everything, and we have fallen completely in love. I had planned to move to Vancouver before I met her, but now i have every reason in the world to never turn back. She was housebound due to just having a beautiful baby boy, stuck wondering if there would be anyone out there who would love her and her child. I give my best each day to them, love him as if he were my own, and never look at another option for happiness. Thanks POF, I couldn't have found true love otherwise.  | I was on Plenty of Fish several times and some interesting stories to tell and finally gave up. Well I thought I would give it one more try and made a profile without a picture and just put down what was on my mind, I wanted to give it that one last try. This was when My future bride added me as a favorite, so I sent her an email and the connection started from there. We talked on the phone for hours and hours and shortly after decided to meet for coffee, there was an instant connection. I through my several years of dating have never met a woman like Crystal, I just new I finally met my soul mate. I introduced her to my parents and not even a month later asked her to Marry me, she is a wonderful woman and will we together (the 5 of us) will in October become a wonderful family. For those out there dont give up if you are truley looking for someone to share you life with you will meet them.  | I'd been a member for about 7 months and was searching through and emailing a lot of girls in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and I came across this beautiful photograph and profile of Tracey who was in Carrickfergus, which was further than I was looking to travel. My gut told me to contact her, which I did do, and we exchanged 5 emails that day, texted like crazy that night and that week and met up for the first time on Friday 14th March 2008. We get along so naturally that it's easy to forget that we didnt know eachother before we met on here. We couldn't be more in love and life is so much better since that day we met. Now we're getting engaged this year and are hoping to get married sometime in the next few years. What would we say to people searching for love on Plentyoffish? Dont give up and trust your gut.
