 | My Husband & I met and started talking on Plenty of Fish in late 2005. Our first meeting was at a local coffee shop in early January 2006 and we started dating within a week. We soon became inseperable, both of us from small towns and having a lot in common, we were always at ease with each other. In April 2008, we became engaged and had a quick engagement, as we just got married in early November 2008. Thanks to Plenty of Fish, we were able to find each other!! |
 | Trevor sent me a message over pof, and immediately, I was attracted to his sense of humor, drive, and of course his gorgeous smile. As it turns out, we had a few mutual friends in common and this made it all the more easier to chat and get to know one another. We just clicked- our tastes in everything were nearly identical, and our life goals were extremely similar. It was refreshing to meet someone who met every bit of criteria that I felt was important to have in a mate, and I almost thought it was too good to be true! After exchanging emails, he came to meet me (and one of my girlfriends) one night at a local pub, and he asked me out on an "official" date. After hanging out casually at my house a couple of times., our first real date was 16 hours long, and ended in our first kiss. Since then, we've been inseperable. There was no "seeing each other" stage- we were immediately together, true love at first sight. Aside from being in the most fulfilling relationship either of us has ever had, we are each other's best friend. We're moving in together next year, and have pof to thank for our success story.  | hi this is michelle im here to tell you about how me and my partner got together we knew each other for school. and then after ten years we met again at a pub called the posted office club in bletchley milton keynes we started talking and then she asked me for my number which i then waited 4 her to text me she asked me if i had any lesbian mates and i said to her how do you no i wouldnt go that way with you we then started talkin more and then i asked her to meet me down the club on saturday and from there i asked her to stay at my mums with me and we then got together and have been together for a year on saturday 29th novermber 2008 which i couldnt be any happier i have found the right person thanks to the term at plenty of fish i have had a got year beening with them so you lot out there that dont think there is someone for every one there is i used to think i would never be happy and look whats happened for me im so happy i can wait to get married to her and spend the rest of my life together thanks again to all the term |
 | Butch and I met on POF several months ago... We have been thru alot together and realize how precious love and finding your love of your life means to each other.. I love this man with all of my heart and thank god for him coming into my life and filling this empty heart.. I want the world to know how much I love him and we are engaged and living together..  | "Good things truly DO come to those who wait." At least for us they did. Mark (markie79) and I (Vamp Vixen) met in December 2006. He sent me a message at a time when I thought I was ready to give up on the whole internet dating thing. But there was something about his smile, the pics of him and his son and the way he boasted about how much he LOVED being a dad that captured me. I knew from the moment I heard his voice on the phone that he was something special. We met and the feelings were overwhelmingly HUGE & instant! After my teenage daughter gave us her stamp of approval, the rest is romantic history! We now share MY daughter, HIS son and OUR beautiful little girl that we welcomed in February of this year. Life is absolutely grand and I couldn't ask for more love, more happiness and more joy than what we share as a family now each every day. Thank you Plenty of Fish, for bringing Mark & I together. :) |
