 | Chris messaged me first, and said he was surprised that I responded. I was surprised he had messaged me, because I thought he was so cute! We talked on msn for about 4 months, as friends while I went through horrible date after horrible date. We met up on May 9/08 and were inseperable after that. The first date, we missed a movie we were supposed to go see, so we went down to the lake and talked for hours! Now that's something we do regularly! We moved in together July/08.  | it was like we were ment to be together. kit was one of the frist men i spoke to when i joined pof in febuary 2006. we exchanged msn addresses and spoke nearly every night. Then kit just disappeared. what i didnt know then i know know he had a gf. about a month later i was on line and kit pops up. i was nervous about saying hello as at the time i thought he wasnt interested, when i got around to it, it just seemed we picked up where we left off. that day we meet, i remember stood outside my home waiting for him. we when to the cinema and watched silent hill. the next day he came and picked me up, we went to portsdown hill and just sat a talk for hours. that night i was texting kit good night and just asked him out. from that day on we have been together. kit is amazing straight away he took on the roll off parent to my then 2 year old and he is the best dad ever. now well alots happened. we have a little boy. he is one this month. we are also getting married in september. thanks to pof i found my knight, my mr right, thank you soooooooo much pof x |
 | I had given up on finding anyone on any of the dating sites and was going to delete my account. When I did, several profiles came up, out of the blue, and I thought I'd just take a quick look before I deleted. One really caught my eye, but when I read his profile, he said that his heart had been too damaged by his ex-girlfirend and he wasn't really looking. I sent him a short e-mail saying how sorry I was that he was hurting and that I hoped he found someone to put the light back into his life. I was very suprised when I got an answer three days later, saying that he was doing better and would like to chat. And that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that has grown into a beautiful love story. He's what I've been looking for my entire life but had given up on finding. Steve, I love you so much and can't wait to share my life with you. |
 | I am so glad that I found this site, and more happier that Thomas found it.. He was told by a friend to check it out and he found me.. We are so much alike in many ways and it was so easy to fall in love with him.. WE just got engaged and plan to be married in the near future. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. I hope you find that special someone like we did.. Thank you POF for helping us find each other, couldn't have done that without this site.. |
 | Well I was on the site once for about 2 months and I didn't meet anyone worth mentioning so I deleted my profile. Then after about 4 months my best friend convinced me to give it another try. So I set up my profile again and within 3 weeks I found Rob the man of my dreams. We exchanged a couple of e-mails but switched to the phone right away. From there we talked 3 nights in a row for hours and both agreed that we needed to meet ASAP. Our first date was perfect...neither one of us wanted it to end.
