 | Well my friend created this account for me. I didnt even know about it till I seen all the emails come in from this site. I went to log in and seen all the hits I got. I actually was the one who contacted Dwayne. It's funny b/c he didnt have much on his profile. I guess it was his smile that attracted me to him. So we would chat on yahoo IM and then we finally went on a date like 2 months after we would chat. We went to the movies and we hit it off! Im a shy person and lord knows I been hurt soo many times. But when I was going to meet him I was not nervious. I felt like all would be ok and it was. We get along great and he makes me smile all the time! I hope to keep you posted and let you know in the future if it works out. He is a great man and im soo greatful that I found him. I thank my friend who created my site and POF b/c I dont know how long it would have been till I found him or a man like him! THANK YOU! |
 | We had both recently gone through messy divorces, but were ready to move on and see what was out there. I put my ad up on a Wednesday, within 30 minues he had found me. He had just joined POF a few days prior. The next week we went on our first date, and we've been inseparable ever since. At the time, he lived 2 1/2 hours away in Eastern Colorado; I was in Metro Denver. He quickly moved to Denver to be closer to me and my girls. Over 2 years later, we moved to Wyoming together, and got married in Vegas last November. I've never met anyone who "gets" me like he does, and we make each other laugh all the time. It was just meant to be - my ad read a perfect description of him, and he was everything I had hoped to find and more. |
 | I met this wonderful guy on or about the 14th of Jan. I never thought internet dating sites were for me, but I decided to see what was out there. I haved ended a former relationship and all I wanted was a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. I am actually in love with this wonderful man that I met on line. He is a very private person and so am I. I would love to go into details but I will keep those thoughts for myself. I thank you, Plenty of Fish for letting me catch a person I would love to spend my life with, but I must take everything slow.  | I joined plenty of fish because I don't have the time to go out to meet people. From the beginning of when I first joined POF in October, I didn't really have any expectations. I would get the usual messages from members with still no real thoughts on anything materializing. One day in December I got a very humbling and sweet message from Kevin and he was such a sweet guy that I just had to meet him. The poor guy drove all the way to Edmonton from Airdre after working a full nights shift with NO sleep. From the second I laid eyes on him I felt my heart leap through my chest. We had EVERYTHING in common. Not to mention the fact that when I first saw him, I just melted. Well, long story short, I am now wearing his engagment ring, OMG he actually got on one knee and propsed to me. How sweet is that???? I plan on moving from Edmonton to Airdre asap and wedding plans are in the works. I have met my soulmate and all I can do is thank POF for bringing us together, because there would be no other way he and I would connect and I would have missed the most happiest times of my life. I just love showing him off. He is my world! |
 | she messaged me on jan.26 and we talked for a bit, then she asked me to go to a movie, then we talked more and she was very kind and generous bout me going to the movies with her, also after talking more i started to like her and fall for her and she told me she will make a descion tonite when we meet, so we went to rexx sportsbar and played pool then decided to go see a movie at the cineplex. afterwards we went to timmies for a coffee i offered her something she said no, i was very poliete about it and i asked her if she wanted to date me she said yes, and i asked her when did she start liken me she said the first 5 min, i said why, she said i was PERFECT! The moral of the story is treat women with respect and it will come back to you in return! |
